Turning she saw their living knot and source, Повернувшись, она увидела живой их источник и центр,
Key to their charm and fount of their delight, К их очарованию ключ, их восторгов начало,
And knew him for the same who snares our lives И узнала в нем прежнего, который ловит наши жизни,
Captured in his terrifying pitiless net, Плененные в его безжалостные и ужасные сети,
And makes the universe his prison camp И вселенную своим тюремным лагерем делает,
And makes in his immense and vacant vasts И делает в своих пустых и огромных просторах
The labour of the stars a circuit vain Тщетным кругом труд звезд,
